Q code 1964 Galaxie frame and body.
This is a successor car, with the original car to far gone to salvage the firewall including the original vin tag was merged with a donor car to create this successor car in the correct Ragoon red. The donor frame was sandblasted and powder coated.
427 Motor and 4 speed top loader transmission
This is the original motor from the car, carefully rebuilt by a well known engine builder. The transmission was serviced and inspected thoroughly
The interim car
Originally bought as a 352 automatic, the car currently has the q code running gear in it. The plan was to put the 427 and toploader transmission back into the q code car once it was complete. All the parts and pieces to put this car back to the original 352 automatic are included in the sale. This car will make a nice driver quality car.
The parts
There are enough parts to complete both projects as well as have some valuable parts left over, including an extra 352FE, an automatic transmission and 2 top loader transmissions.
The Story
In 2017 the Q code was rescued from the woods by Richard Rawlings and Dennis Collins, then was featured on the TV show Fast & Loud. In 2018 the car was purchased by Larry, a successful businessman with a passion for the 1964 Galaxie
